Beware: despite some of the reviews here that say that the case comes with the protective film, it does not! The packaging says that the film is "optional". The case sold by JoWow does not come with one unless you purchase one separately.
Other than that, the case itself looks great aesthetically mainly because it exposes so much of the well designed phone itself. The chrome edges around the phone are still visible -- the case mostly covers the back of the phone, not the front or some of the sides. I would be afraid to drop the phone still. It's definitely better than nothing but I am still in the market for a case that I feel will protect my phone.

This is, without a doubt, the best case for the iPhone 3g. It looks, fits and feels like it belongs. It's not bulky and protects the back of the phone from unsightly scratches. It is securely attached. It helps your phone slide in and out of your pocket easily (unlike the rubber/silicon cases). Get a film for the front and you'll be fully protected!

I love the iPhone case. In my opinion the majority of phone cases look terrible. This case maintains a very low profile and looks cool. It slides in and out of my pocket with ease. The best part of the case is that the low profile look really does not diminish the cool factor of owning an iPhone. Last week I accidentally dropped my phone down a flight of stairs; without a doubt the case saved my phone. I would highly recommend this case to anyone that owns an iPhone, wants to protect it, and does not want to look ridiculous with some cheap phone cover.

when i first saw this case I wondered how it could protect the iphone because it looks so slim, but it really does protect it! I accidentally dropped my phone off my desk and nothing happened to either the phone or the case, the screen protector goes on pretty easy and the whole case doesn't take away from the beauty of the iphone and doesn't add unnecessary weight

This is one of the best case I have ever had for my iPhone. I have bought about three other cases but none compare to the elegance of this case. The other cases have been either very bulky or covers the whole esthetics of the phone. This case keeps my phone looking original and protected at the same time. Another cool thing about this case is the film that comes with the case for the front of the phone. Its really thick and doesn't feel flimsy like other films. OVERALL RATING FOR THIS CASE IS AWSOME!!!
